Prof. Jessy Mathew M.Sc (Plant Science), an academician since 1983, was the head of the department of Botany at St.George’s college, Aruvithura ,an A+ accredited college by National Assessment and Accreditation Council ,University Grants Commission, Government of India. Prof.Jessy Mathew has shown profound interest in the study and conservation of medicinal plants diversity of Kerala. Her academic projects on cost effective utilization of native medicinal plants have become the eye opener for Ayurveda medicine manufacturing industry in Kerala.
Dr.Jacob Thomas Puthuppallil MD (Ayurveda) PhD, an academician since 1984, is the head of the department of Ayurveda at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. In his academic and research career, he has produced five doctoral degrees, introduced Doctoral programme in Ayurveda, undergraduate programme in Ayurveda pharmacy and diploma programme in Ayurveda Panchakarma and International Spa Therapy ,first time in Kerala. He has been working as the member of academic council, Dean, faculty of Ayurveda and member syndicate.
Angadipetty, Kerala Ayurveda Museum is located in the scenic beauty of Thekkady, the land of Hills, Spices, Medicinal Plants and wildlife. Government of Kerala has designated Thekkady as Responsible Tourism destination.
